Dr. Sewell's particular area of interest is diabetic eye disease. To ensure the best care and best exchange of information with your family doctor or diabetic specialist all diabetic patients must be referred. For more information click here.

Dr. Sewell's practice encompasses most areas of eye care. Examinations that are solely for routine checks for eye glasses do not require a referral. To ensure the best care and optimal communication with your doctor all other appointments require a referral. When your doctor refers you we can schedule a more appropriate exam potentially saving you time and frustration.

Where possible services are charged to Manitoba Health, but please note that Manitoba Health does not cover all services. Our aim is to provide the best possible care with the best proven technologies; what we would want our mothers or sisters to receive, not just with what Manitoba Health will pay for.
